    Aeroflot YAK-40 CCCP-87490 (1:200) by Herpa Models Item Number: 557290The Soviet-Era Aeroflot was by far the largest operator of this small trijet, having had more than 500 Yak-40s in its fleet. Today, CCCP-87490 is preserved in the Central Air Force Museumin Monino, near Moscow.

The usual 25 to 32 passengers entered the aircraft through stairs underneath the tail - a feature that will be added on this model. More than 1,000 Yak-40s were produced in total.
